During October and September 2017, Ichi Bakery teamed up with the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) to conduct a “California Seasons” bakery promotion at 106 Ichi Bakery stores in Shanghai. A professional team of bakers led by Chef Cai Bingrong developed several new pastry products using California cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, Parmesan cheese, and condensed milk. The new pastries were sold and promoted in 106 Ichi stores, where they received positive feedback and sold in large numbers.
