SMH INTERNATIONAL

When Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California, led a trade mission to China in 2010, part of the mission was to promote agricultural products from the state of California. For this showcase event at the California Carnival, hosted at the Hangzhou Century Mart, SMH International was contracted to make sure California agricultural products received the sort of exposure deserving of Arnold Schwarzenegger's visit. 

 

With SMH's help, American pistachios became the star of the show when Schwarzenegger placed their sticker on himself and began tasting samples of pistachios, walking towards the camera holding a bowl of pistachios while demonstrating his admiration for pistachios and other Californian products. The resulting success, a four-fold increase in the sales of American pistachio, paved ways for future cooperation between SMH and foreign diplomatic trade missions.
